Introduction

To help facilitate increased time to complete I-9 Section 2, Able offers the ability to quickly select commonly used Identity and Work Authorization documents, rather than selecting them from the list. 


This view can now be toggled as visible or not visible as a configuration option.

Employer or Authorized Representative Experience

When an employer or Authorized Representative navigates to a pending I-9 Section 2, they are required to select the document type(s) that has been provided by the Employee.


If Enable Commonly Used Documents Selection is On

Below the select inputs, four quick-select buttons may be made available under Commonly Used Documents

  • U.S. Passport
  • License + Soc Sec Card
  • License + Birth Cert
  • State ID + Soc Sec Card

Pressing any one of these buttons will automatically select the associated documents in List A, List B, and List C.

If Enable Commonly Used Documents Selection is Off

The Commonly Used Documents section will not appear beneath the List A, B, and C select inputs. 


Configuring Section 2: Enable Commonly Used Documents Selection

Administrators can enable this view by setting to On the following configuration, which defaults to Off:
